Description:

At AMZ Prep, we provide end-to-end eCommerce logistics solutions, helping brands scale with seamless fulfillment, warehousing, and shipping services. Our network spans North America and Europe, enabling brands to optimize their supply chain for Amazon FBA/FBM, DTC fulfillment, and retail distribution. As we continue to expand, we are looking for a Director of Business Development to lead a team of Business Development Representatives (BDRs) in driving pipeline growth and new business opportunities across AMZ Prep’s service offerings.
This role is focused on outbound lead generation, strategic account targeting, and pipeline acceleration through digital and in-person engagement. You will work closely with Marketing and Sales leadership to refine AMZ Prep’s outbound strategy, optimize sales processes, and develop a high-performing BDR team. This position requires strong leadership, a data-driven mindset, and a proven ability to hire, coach, and scale sales teams in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead, coach, and develop the Business Development team to achieve and exceed pipeline generation and revenue targets.
  • Define and execute strategies for outbound prospecting, lead nurture, and account targeting.
  • Optimize outbound sales workflows, implementing new tools, technology, and processes.
  • Ensure the team is effectively qualifying leads and securing high-value meetings for Account Executives.
  • Use CRM and sales engagement tools to track performance, analyze data, and drive improvements.
  • Collaborate with Revenue Operations and Marketing to refine ideal customer profiles (ICPs) and optimize lead qualification.
  • Establish team KPIs and continuously improve conversion rates, outreach effectiveness, and pipeline health.
  • Conduct regular training, 1:1 coaching, and performance reviews to develop and retain top talent.
  • Partner with sales leadership on territory planning, forecasting, and go-to-market strategy.
  • Participate in hiring and onboarding as the BDR team scales.
  • Travel up to 10% to attend industry events and meet with key partners.
