Description:
Our client runs a chain of dialysis facilities in Singapore. As part of their expansion plan, they are seeking to onboard a Director of Clinical Nursing Operations
This position functions as part of our client’s clinical lead, responsible for
- quality and nursing services across the country,
- providing nursing leadership at country level and
- implementing programmes to improve patient quality outcomes by providing clinical programme management and support for the clinical teammates.
As the Director of Nursing Operations/Clinical Services , you are expected to work closely with the Chief Medical Officer , General Manager and Operations Director , being responsible for the overall management of our client’s clinical services team; supervising clinical teammates including but not limited to the hiring, assessment, discipline and conduct, professional development and deployment of clinical teammates.
This position reports directly to the General Manager or his designate.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or other healthcare related degree, with valid registration with the Singapore Nursing Board (SNB)
- At least 8 years of dialysis experience preferred, with proven track record
- 5 years in a leadership role with direct supervisory responsibilities
- Strong communication skills, both written and oral
- Demonstrated track record in teams management and mentorship
- Ability to utilise resources to accomplish all key metrics
- Demonstrated team building and coaching/mentoring skills
- Demonstrated ability to proactively identify and analyse issues in the workplace and identify and implement solutions collaboratively
- In-depth understanding of facility operations and the roles of direct caregivers in mission accomplishment
- Proven strong leadership skills and the ability to collaborate across functions
- Solid reasoning, critical thinking, problem solving abilities
- Ability to delegate appropriately; detail-oriented, yet able to drive projects forward

Responsibilities:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The following duties and responsibilities generally reflect the expectations of this position but are not intended to be all inclusive:
- Lead, manage and develop clinical operations such as action plans and strategies together with Operations Director including implementation of clinical practices, review of nursing audits, service quality activities, new technologies utilization etc.
- Monitor and develop nursing quality, identifying issues that require the establishment of clinical Policies and Procedures or recommend modification(s) to existing policies and procedures
- Monitoring, implementation and reporting on company initiatives
- Data collection and reporting including AOR investigation processes and divisional CQI activities within the division
- Ensure all clinics are able to deliver clinical care smoothly and with good outcomes.
- Ensure adherence to our client’s compliance program and local regulations.
- Ensure that proper documentation is submitted when required to the appropriate regulatory agencies
- Provide oversight of the audit processes to ensure regulatory compliance and consistency in approach
- Ensure clinical teams’ compliance with all laws, regulations and practice guidelines that impact nursing practices
- Provide coaching and leadership including effective performance feedback to Clinical Team
- Participate as a member of senior management in development of strategic direction and ensure development of outcome programmes to support the direction
- Participate in the country’s operations review process and provide reports with analysis as requested
- Develop a collaborative and unified clinical team across all of our client’s centres/divisions
- Monitor and oversee manpower and staffing matters
- Engages actively with People Services in the recruitment process for suitable candidates, and in performance reviews of teammates for various clinical positions.
