REQUIREMENTS
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
- BLS Provider preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- Registered Nurse preferred.
Education:
- High School diploma equivalency with 5 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required, with 2 of those years being in leadership/management OR Associate’s degree/Bachelor’s degree with 3 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required, with 2 of those years being in leadership/management.
Responsibilities:
Direct the development and implementation of policies, procedures and strategies.
- Organize operations to provide high quality, cost effective services. Model leadership and teaming excellence by providing appropriate advice and counsel to staff to improve effectiveness.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures that support the delivery of services to meet all productivity plans.
- Coordinate and integrate services to meet contractual requirements. Conduct ongoing assessments, maintains quality control programs, and improves departmental operations.
- Directs staff. Manages departmental turnover while maintaining high employee and patient satisfaction.
- Identifies marketing and collaborative opportunities for the department.
