The Opportunity: We’re seeking an exceptional Design Lead who can blend strategic leadership and deep customer discovery with rapid, high-impact execution. You’ll spend significant time with our customers, understanding their pain points, and translating complex EDI workflows into intuitive experiences.

ABOUT YOU

• 8+ years of proven product design experience, with 3+ years in design leadership
• Strong track record of customer discovery and user research and experience rapidly prototyping and iterating based on customer feedback
• Portfolio showing how you’ve simplified complex technical products
• Proven ability to both lead and execute as an individual contributor in a high velocity environment
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Background in SaaS/enterprise software preferred
• Experience with EDI or similar technical B2B products is a plus
• Ability to balance business objectives with user needs and team needs. You represent all sides of the business and know how to create the best outcomes for each.

  The pay range for this role is:
  192,000 - 252,000 USD per year(United States)
  172,000 - 225,000 CAD per year(Canada

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Put the user first in all product / design decisions and be an advocate for them. Don’t lessen their problems, actually eliminate them
• Champion high caliber design throughout Orderful. You’re a role model to other designers and other parts of the company.
• Spend significant time with customers, conducting user research and discovery and transform complex customer needs into clear product vision and intuitive designs
• Lead rapid prototyping and iteration based on customer feedback and drive quick experiments and learning loops with our customers
• Own enterprise product design while mentoring, leading a Senior Designer, and eventually building out a world class design team
• Champion user-centered design practices across the organization
• Balance speed with quality in a fast-moving environment
