The Director of Design is responsible for leading the strategic direction, operational efficiency, and technical excellence of the design department. This role involves driving the adoption of innovative design practices, optimizing workflows, and ensuring alignment with UnitiWall’s mission to deliver high-quality curtain wall and exterior wall systems. The Director will collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate design processes with manufacturing, assembly, and project execution, while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
What you’ll be doing

EDUCATION:

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Civil/Structural Engineering, or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.

EXPERIENCE:

• 10+ years of experience in design leadership roles, preferably in curtain wall systems or related industries.
• Proven track record of managing multidisciplinary teams and complex design projects.
• Comfortable with public speaking and presenting to experts in the field, as well as participating in conferences as a presenter.
