ABOUT TETRA TECH INTERNATIONAL DEVELOPMENT EUROPE
Tetra Tech International Development Europe delivers international development programmes and projects in the areas of governance, security and justice; and economic growth and infrastructure for UK and European clients such as the UK FCDO, the EU, and EIB. We also have a strong independent in-house research, monitoring, evaluation and learning practice working both on international development projects and direct for EC institutions in Europe. We have corporate offices in the UK, Poland and the Netherlands, and project offices in numerous locations, including Kenya, Nigeria and Palestine.
Responsibilities:
We are looking for a Director of Economic Growth and Infrastructure (EGI) within Tetra Tech International Development, Europe. EGI is one of our key practice areas and the role has responsibility for overseeing, managing and mentoring a team of approx. 15 in-house staff, based in the UK and other locations, as well as overseeing large in-country teams working on our various projects. The role is responsible for managing and delivering the current EGI project portfolio (which contains numerous large projects ranging from £10-£50m) and growing this over time through effective business development.
The role requires someone who can bring technical expertise and thought leadership to our projects, as well as existing client relationships. It needs someone who can build networks, both externally with other partner firms, and internally across wider Tetra Tech. The role reports to the Managing Director and operates as part of the 6-person senior leadership team (Managing Director, Practice Directors, BD Director, Finance Director) which is responsible for driving strategy and overall business performance at Tetra Tech International Development Europe.
