THE OPPORTUNITY:

• Manages and oversees the general accounting functions of the department, including, but not limited to, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger and Payroll.
• Checks the reconciliations of the balance sheet, revenue contracts and payroll for accuracy.
• Produces timely and accurate preparation of monthly financial statements.
• Prepares and oversees internal and external reporting.

What You Will Bring to The Role: 3 bullets of main qualifications

• Bachelor of Commerce with a focus on accounting, finance or a related field.
• Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation.
• Certified Aboriginal Financial Manager (CAFM) or Certified Aboriginal Professional Administrator (CAPA) would be an asset.
• Minimum 5 (five) years of program management experience.
• An alternative combination of education and experience may be considered.
