Description:

We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Director of Finance in Dallas, Texas. This role is in the data center industry, where you will be instrumental in the creation, tracking, and analysis of facility capex budgets. You will also have the opportunity to become a subject matter expert in data center construction and aid in the development of financial models for capital investment opportunities.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the creation and tracking of capex budgets for various data center assets and campuses.
  • Develop and manage financial models to analyze and assess capital investment opportunities.
  • Become a subject matter expert in data center construction, including understanding various vendors and technologies.
  • Contribute to the creation of annual capex forecasts.
  • Oversee and manage monthly budget vs. actual capex variance analyses by department.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities through the analysis of large data sets.
  • Support the Finance team by assisting with other analyses as requested.
  • Conduct industry research and maintain databases of peer data.
  • Utilize skills in Accounting Software Systems, CRM, Accounts Payable (AP), and Budget Processes to efficiently perform job responsibilities.
  • Must possess proficiency in 3M
  • Experience with Accounting Software Systems is required
  • Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services is necessary
  • Knowledge of Concur is mandatory
  • CRM skills are a must
  • Ability to perform Accounting Functions is essential
  • Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) is required
  • Must be able to handle Annual Budget preparation and management
  • Auditing skills are a necessity
  • Experience in Budget Processes is required
