Description:
Gathern is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Governance, Risk, and Compliance to lead and oversee our company’s governance, risk management, and compliance activities. As the Director of Governance, Risk, and Compliance, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our company operates in accordance with legal, regulatory, and internal requirements.
In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing governance frameworks, risk management strategies, and compliance programs. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including legal, finance, and operations, to identify and mitigate risks, establish policies and procedures, and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Additionally, you will provide guidance and training to employees on governance, risk, and compliance matters.
We are looking for individuals who have a deep understanding of governance, risk management, and compliance principles and regulations. REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in business, law, finance, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred)
- Proven experience in governance, risk management, and compliance
- Deep understanding of legal and regulatory requirements
- Excellent knowledge of governance principles and best practices
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities
- Ability to collaborate and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Professional certifications in governance, risk management, or compliance (e.g., CRISC, CISA, CISM) are a plus
