Description:

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Operations Manager oversees all hotel departments and ensures smooth operations. They are responsible for meeting budgets, resolving issues, ensuring standards are met, and developing staff. Key duties include managing department heads, addressing customer satisfaction, and collaborating with other hotel managers. Candidates require a degree in hospitality, 3-4 years of experience as a manager, strong communication skills, and the ability to work well under pressure.

Experience/Knowledge:

  • Excellent revenue management skills with experience of budgets, P&L’s and forecasting.
  • Highly focused, have excellent communication skills, be motivated and professional.
  • Degree or Diploma in Hospitality Management or other related field is an asset.
  • Computer knowledge, MS office. Experience in Property Management Software’s.
  • 3-4 years work experience in a 3 to 5 star Hotel as a Deputy Manager, Asst. Operations Manager or Hotel Manage

Responsibilities:

  • Fully responsible for all aspects of all departments
  • Support and work with all Head of Departments in all aspects of running this Hotel.
  • Ensure the premises are in operative condition
  • Conduct regular operations team meeting with all the HOD daily/weekly to discuss routine operational matters, sales targets and also any staff issues.
  • Ensure SOP implementation in all departments and check the same during routine operational checks.
  • Monitor the purchases of each department
  • Randomly inspecting the stores (F&B/Kitchen)to check the stock in hand(quality, par stock levels,expiry etc).
  • Dealing with Suppliers/ Vendors for quality products
  • Inspecting all departments with their respective Manager’s for cleanliness, service readiness
  • Monitor the co-ordination between all departments for smooth & efficient operations.
  • Assessing and reviewing customer satisfaction
  • Identifying staff learning needs and assisting with development
  • Monitor and maintain operation & overhead cost in order to maintain maximum revenue to the business
  • Be available to resolve any urgent emergencies
  • Responsible for the overall management of the operation of the Hotel
  • Any other duties assigned

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: €50,000.00-€70,000.00 per year
