NOTE: This is an onsite, salaried, benefits-eligible M-F position located at our New Orleans headquarters (Mid City) with regular flex to our Uptown location and occasional travel. No remote or hybrid job seekers, please.
Director of Human Resources’ Main Objective: The Director of Human Resources will lead our Human Resources department and oversee company growth through concentrated focus on Talent Acquisition as well as ensuring daily HR operations company-wide.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Director of Human Resources will maintain all activities including but not limited to:
- Partner with leadership in developing Talent Acquisition strategy in alignment with long-term company growth projections and immediate short-term needs
- Mobilize team and company to recruit, hire and retain top talent across all locations and teams
- In partnership with leadership, develop strategy and establish best practices around onboarding, training and staff retention
- Manage, inspire, grow and develop HR team through 1:1s, daily huddles, team meetings and professional development opportunities with a particular focus on meeting company hiring goals
- Provides support and guidance to management, and other staff when sensitive questions and issues arise. Address employee relations issues and provide informed guidance through to resolution
- Monitors and ensures the organization’s compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommends best practices; reviews and modifies policies and practices to maintain compliance
- Equip and empower staff, teams and departments to attend to DelRicht’s workplace culture within their sphere of influence
- Administration of benefits in partnership with broker, team and leadership with an eye towards offering best-in-industry packages for all levels

SKILLS NEEDED TO WIN
- Required: 7-10 years of progressively responsible HR experience inclusive of at least 1 year of senior or directorial standing
- Required: 2 years of people management experience
- Required: 3 years of fast-paced Talent Acquisition experience
- Required: HRIS/ATS platforms experience
- Required: At least 1 year of multi-state compliance experience (1 or more states outside of LA)
- Required: Full life cycle HR experience inclusive of: onboarding, offboarding, retention strategy, benefits, talent acquisition, compensation, reviews cycles, payroll, policy & practice, compliance, professional development & coaching
- Required: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
- Required: Demonstrated ability to oversee Team Member Relations and Talent Acquisition
- Preferred: Experience working in a HR leadership role for a small to mid-sized company
- Preferred: Experience project managing sizeable hiring projects
- Preferred: BambooHR experience
- Coffee drinkers preferred. Tea drinkers accepted.
