THE ROLE OF DIRECTOR OF HUMAN RESOURCES
As the Director of Human Resources, you will be responsible for providing strategic HR leadership, driving employee engagement, and ensuring the consistent application of our core values throughout the organization. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing all aspects of human resources, including recruitment, compensation, benefits, safety, workers compensatin, employee relations, and training
- Partnering with senior management to develop and implement HR strategies that support our business objectives
- Ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
- Fostering a positive, inclusive, and high-performing work culture
- Developing and executing innovative training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge
- Serving as a trusted advisor and coach to managers and employees
The ideal candidate for this role will possess:
- A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or a related field
- A minimum of 5 years of HR experience, with at least 2 years in a senior leadership role
- Proven experience partnering with executive-level stakeholders
- Expertise in all facets of human resources, including employment, compensation, benefits, and employee relations
- Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills
- A consultative approach and the ability to provide guidance and advice when needed
- A passion for creating a positive, inclusive, and high-performing work environment
- Familiarity with the private club, resort, or hospitality industry (preferred)
- SHRM or HRCI professional certification (preferred
