As we continue to focus on growth and transformation, we are seeking a Director of HR Operations to lead the LATAM HRBP team from our office in Mexico City!
The Director of Human Resources Operations will be a key member of the Neogen Human Resources team, providing thought leadership to develop and execute a people strategy that optimizes our ability to attract, engage, and retain top talent at every level. This critical role will partner with business leaders to drive transformation that aligns with short and long-term business objectives and supports the business through rapid revenue and headcount growth, as well as expansion into new markets. The ideal candidate will bring a mix of strategic vision and practical, hands-on HR expertise, driving excellence and efficiency across our HR operations in the LATAM Region.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as a strategic advisor to senior leaders on current and emerging People Operations needs and priorities
  • Develop and implement HR processes to support functional and organizational objectives
  • Lead and develop the USAC HR Operations team, ensuring high levels of performance and engagement
  • Drive initiatives aimed at enhancing employee experience and alignment with the organization’s values and objectives
  • Partner with Global COE’s to ensure alignment of programs to support the business and employees
  • Utilize data and analytics to inform decision making and measure impact
  • Collaborate with global HR partners to ensure alignment and consistency in HR practices

  • Business Acumen: Deep understanding of business operations and the ability to link HR and business strategies
  • Leadership and Team Management: Demonstrated experience in leading, motivating, and developing high-performing HR teams in a dynamic environment
  • Communication and Influence: Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate ideas, influence others, and build alignment across all levels of the organization
  • Change Management: Proficiency in managing organizational change, with a track record of successfully leading HR transformation initiatives
  • Operational Excellence: Strong operational skills with an emphasis on creating efficiencies, standardization, and leveraging technology to improve HR processes
  • Problem-Solving and Analytical Skills: Ability to use data to tell a story and drive decision making, solve complex problems, and improve operational outcomes
  • Flexibility and Adaptability: Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment, adapting to evolving business needs and challenges
  • Stakeholder Management: Strong interpersonal skills with experience managing relationships with key stakeholders, including senior leaders and internal/external partners
  • Regulatory Compliance: Thorough knowledge of employment laws and regulations to ensure organizational compliance

Qualifications:

  • Fluent English
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field, OR an equivalent combination of education and experience. Relevant HR certifications preferred.
  • Minimum of 8 years of HR experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
  • Proven track record of implementing HR strategies that have positively impacted business outcomes
  • Experience in evaluating and implementing organizational structures that enhance operational efficiency
  • Previous demonstrable experience in process improvement and HR transformation
  • Workday experience preferred
