Description:
We are currently accepting applications for a full-time, salaried, exempt position as the Director of Human Resources at RiverMead.

Responsibilities
The Director of Human Resources will lead and manage all aspects of the human resources function within the senior living community. This role includes developing and implementing HR strategies, overseeing recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training, and development, and ensuring that systems, documents, and policies comply with employment laws and regulations. The Director will also manage the operation, implementation, integration, and optimization of RiverMead’s various HR information systems. This role’s key aspect is fostering a positive work environment that aligns with the community’s mission and values.
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in human resource management or equivalent work experience, along with coursework in management or a related field, is required. SHRM-SCP certification is a plus, and a Master’s degree is preferred.
- A minimum of seven to ten years of progressive HR experience, with at least five years in human resource management, is required. Experience in healthcare and/or with elderly populations is preferred.
- Exceptional leadership, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills are essential. Candidates should demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively with individuals across a broad range of ages and responsibilities, especially with the geriatric population.
