JOB OVERVIEW:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Marketing Director for the Ontario Region. This leadership role is based in Toronto (between our two offices in downtown and in North York) and is responsible for overseeing the marketing strategies and initiatives across over 150 clinics within the region, as well as taking ownership of the marketing plans for Altima Dental Group and Brush Dental Group. The Marketing Director will drive new patient acquisition, organic growth, and the penetration of value-added services, ensuring alignment with the company’s objectives and targets. This role requires a blend of B2B (1/3) and B2C (2/3) marketing experience.

EDUCATION, CREDENTIALS, QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 10+ years of experience in marketing, with a proven track record in a leadership role. Demonstrated leadership skills, both cross-functionally and with a direct team.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of all marketing channels across the full funnel, including TV/Radio/OOH, digital marketing, SEO, SEM, social media, content marketing, and local marketing.
  • Experience in brand development, reputation management, creative review and approvals.
  • Experience in both B2B (1/3) and B2C (2/3) marketing.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with executives and clinic teams.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Multi-site local Marketing experience a must. Experience in the healthcare or dental industry is a plus.

REQUIRED SKILLS & ABILITIES:

  • Ability to think strategically but to be hands on in delivery.
  • Structured thinker with strong problem-solving skills.

  • Proficiency in marketing tools and software.
  • Expert PowerPoint and Excel user.

  • Fluency in French, though not mandatory, would be an asset.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies for the Ontario region to drive new patient acquisition, improve patient retention, and increase the uptake of value-added services (e.g., implants, Invisalign).
  • Lead the marketing efforts for key brands such as Altima Dental Group and Brush Dental Group.
  • Collaborate closely with the operations team and clinic managers to support their marketing needs and achieve business goals.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for all marketing-related inquiries from executives in the Toronto offices and the Ontario region.
  • Design and execute targeted marketing campaigns to achieve specific KPIs, including new patient volume, cost per new patient and Return On Marketing Investment (ROMI).
  • Monitor and analyze marketing performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Manage relationships with external marketing agencies and vendors.
  • Support the Business Development team with clinic acquisitions, including inbound marketing, lead generation, lead nurturing, and lead qualification.
  • Support other departments with Marketing and Communications needs such as Procurement and HR.
  • Communicate effectively with clinics, supporting their marketing initiatives and needs.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to ensure 123Dentist’s marketing efforts remain innovative and effective.
  • Oversee the marketing budget for the Ontario region, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
  • Support revenues of several hundred million dollars across the region
  • Take on the direct management of the Ontario Regional Marketing team and overall Marketing leadership of the Toronto offices
