QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7- 10 years of experience in marketing and business development roles within the professional services industry, with a proven track record of driving revenue growth and client acquisition.
- Strong understanding of the professional services landscape in particular within the energy industry.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities, with experience managing and motivating cross-functional teams to achieve shared goals and objectives.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute integrated marketing plans that align with organizational goals and drive measurable results.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and credibility with internal stakeholders, clients, and external partners.
- Creative thinker with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to generate innovative ideas and solutions to complex challenges.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and derive actionable insights to inform decision-making.

Responsibilities:
ROLE OVERVIEW:
The Director of Marketing reporting to the Chief Executive Officer is responsible for developing and executing integrated marketing strategies to enhance brand presence, drive client acquisition and advance business evolution. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, strategic thinking capabilities, and a deep understanding of the professional services industry particularly within the commodity and energy market.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies to increase brand awareness, drive client acquisition, and foster business growth.
- Lead a small globally distributed team of marketing professionals, providing direction, mentorship, and support to achieve strategic objectives and revenue targets.
- Collaborate with the capSpire global leadership team, clients, partners, and key industry stakeholders to identify business growth opportunities and develop tailored marketing strategies to target new clients and expand existing relationships.
- Manage and create effective corporate events.
- Manage the firm’s online and offline marketing activities, including website development, content creation, social media engagement, email campaigns, events, and sponsorships.
- Oversee the creation of high-quality marketing collateral, thought leadership content, and client communications to showcase the firm’s expertise and differentiate our services in the marketplace.
- Work closely with the sales and business development team in the presentation of attractive corporate documentation.
- Develop and nurture relationships with prospective clients, industry influencers, referral partners, and strategic alliances to generate new business opportunities and drive revenue growth.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and potential threats, and use insights to inform marketing strategies.
- Monitor and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of marketing initiatives, and adjust strategies as needed to optimize outcomes.
- Stay abreast of industry developments, regulatory changes, and emerging trends in the energy sector and provide strategic guidance to ensure the firm remains competitive and innovative.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including human resources, finance, and operations, to align marketing efforts with overall business objectives and priorities.
- Ability to travel to capSpire office locations and client sites as required.
