You’ll be joining NCC Group at an exciting time! Our CMO is leading a client-centric transformation of our marketing, brand, communications and government affairs function. Together they’ll be responsible for building distinctive brands in the market and driving long-term growth.
As Director of Marketing (Cyber), you’ll be responsible for building awareness and engagement of our Cyber business through compelling brands and effective campaigns that connect with customers, tie strategy to execution and deliver results.
The Opportunity
The Director of Marketing will report into the CMO and play a crucial role in shaping and executing marketing strategies for the Cyber business within NCC Group to reinforce and strengthen our market position and accelerate business growth. Responsible for conceptualising, planning, and implementing a comprehensive marketing strategy for Cyber, this individual will manage a diverse global team responsible for regions (UK, Europe, North America and APAC), capabilities (services), verticals, events, brand, website and digital performance.
The ideal candidate will be a strategic leader, a creative and commercial professional with a proven track record in leading successful marketing functions and campaigns, ideally within the cyber, consulting or professional services industries (experience of marketing services not just products).
Key Accountabilities
1.Marketing Strategy and Planning:
- Develop and execute an integrated, clear and cohesive marketing strategy aligned with the company’s objectives for its Cyber business including branding, market positioning, target audience segmentation and clear, tailored buyer journeys to drive lead generation, brand awareness, and customer acquisition and retention.
- Commission and analyse market trends, competitive landscape, and customer insights to inform strategic decision-making.
- Brand Management:
- Manage the rollout of the new Cyber brand across our global business engaging with a broad set of stakeholders including Clients, Government agencies, employees, alumni and influencers.
- Enhance and maintain the company’s brand identity, ensuring consistency across all marketing channels and materials.
- Develop and oversee brand guidelines to ensure the brand is well-represented in our market.
- Marketing campaigns:
- Develop and execute lead generation and nurturing strategies to support business development efforts across our capabilities (services), verticals and regional teams to create great client journeys
- Collaborate with colleagues across the business in sales, capabilities and regions to create content to support campaign subject matter experts and consultants to produce campaigns content, whitepapers, articles, and case studies.
- Work closely with the sales leadership team to ensure effective lead management and conversion strategies.
- Lead digital marketing efforts (paid) to drive quality SQLs and pipeline
- Monitor and analyse digital performance metrics to optimize campaigns and drive ROI.
- Digital Marketing, website and tools
- Working with your marketing leadership team oversee digital marketing activity including SEO, SEM, paid social media campaigns, email marketing and content marketing to target and nurture clients and buyers.
- Responsible for the cyber website strategy and management of the team to develop and implement plans to achieve the strategy working with other stakeholders across the firm.
- Oversee the selection and implementation of a technology stack that increases efficiency and creates a seamless end-to-end client journey and delivers valuable insight.
- Engagement and Relationship marketing
- Responsible for the global relationship and engagement strategy to engage and nurture target buyers and clients including events, conferences, webinars, and industry exhibitions.
- Oversee a verticals account-based marketing programme to target and nurture c-suite buyers
- Marketing Budget:
- Responsible for the allocation, effective utilisation, monitoring and management the marketing budget aligned to the business strategy and objectives
- Monitor and report on the ROI of marketing initiatives to ensure optimal resource allocation, offering constructive challenge and insight to the team to improve outcomes
- Team Leadership:
- Build, lead, inspire and mentor a high-performing marketing team, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment that strives to excel.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching and development opportunities to team members.
Functional and Technical Skills
- A degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- Significant demonstrable experience in marketing leadership roles, preferably within the consulting or professional services industry.
- Demonstrated success in developing and implementing marketing strategies that drive business growth.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing channels and data analytics tools.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Excellent understanding of digital marketing strategies and tools
- Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach and a passion for driving results.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing market trends.
