The Marketing Director, Customer Solutions is primarily responsible for engaging all Customers throughout their journey with Elekta. The role will cover multiple market segments across the complete suite of Elekta’s products. Expectations include creating a marketing strategy to engage all customers from the C-Suite to Users of Elekta’s solutions. This includes programs differentiating our service and education and crafting our overarching value proposition. This position is responsible for the development and execution of the regional market strategy, market segmentation, and other marketing programs. The Director is also responsible for assessing the market position and market opportunity to inform the strategic plans for the region, including creating new offerings, upskilling marketing talent, launching new value-added services, and addressing challenges for success.
Responsibilities
- Creation of marketing strategy and comprehensive tactical plan to drive installed based retention through services and education through various healthcare stakeholders.
- Creation of marketing strategy and a comprehensive tactical plan to drive awareness and consideration for competitive customers.
- Ensure customer strategy aligns with brand values and business goals
- Conduct marketing research to ensure data-driven, customer-centric value proposition and highlight areas of improvement opportunity, profile, segment customers, etc., competitive approach positioning, and competitor/market developments and activities.
- Utilize customer data, feedback, and analytics to inform marketing strategies and improve customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Oversee the creation of targeted content and messaging that resonates with our customer base, ensuring consistency in tone and brand voice across all platforms.
- Develop critical clinical, operational, and financial value propositions for each market segment, clearly identifying and communicating the features, advantages, and benefits of the holistic Elekta solution / overarching partnership with Elekta.
- Establish KPIs and metrics to measure the effectiveness of customer experience initiatives, reporting on performance and making data-driven adjustments as needed.
- Oversee the creation and optimization of customer journey maps, identifying key touchpoints and ensuring a seamless, personalized experience across all channels.
- Plan and execute marketing campaigns through all the levers of marketing based on strategic plan.
- Own and drive C-Suite marketing programs to engage across the health system in partnership with strategic accounts.
- Design a pragmatic approach to own customer engagement and execute multiple customer facing events per fiscal year to increase exposure and accelerate and influence the customer journey.
- Collaborate with global Marketing teams to develop proof points & case studies supporting elements of the Elekta value proposition & integrate them into our overarching value proposition of Elekta as a strategic partner (quantifying where possible).
- Gather and report on customer feedback initiatives to drive internal alignment.
- Manage co-marketing activities via strategic business relationships that help deliver value to the market.
Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements below represent the required knowledge, skill and/or ability. Employees must be able to read, speak, write and comprehend the English language.
- MBA or marketing advanced degree required; graduate-level degree in a related discipline such as Physics, Engineering, or Marketing is required.
- 10+ years of marketing experience; customer marketing within services and/or solutions medical device companies are required.
- 10+ years of experience in downstream marketing and medical or capital equipment sales.
- Previous people leadership skills and demonstrated the development of teams required.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills/ability to make top management-level presentations
- Strong analytical capabilities coupled with a strategic business approach
- Strong communication and collaboration skills in cross-functional/global settings
- Demonstrated ability to organize and lead multi-disciplined, high-performing teams
- High energy and drive for results
- Up to 50% travel required

The US base salary range for this position is $150,000- 200,000 with 20% bonus.
