ABOUT THE ROLE:
We are seeking a strategic and results-oriented Director of Marketing, UK to oversee all aspects of paid and unpaid, attributable and unattributable, brand-focused and product-focused work for the TodayTix brand in the London market. The ideal candidate has extensive experience developing impactful marketing strategies, is an expert at funnel-based marketing (defining and executing against the value a brand brings to the consumer at every stage of the funnel), and brings a rabid curiosity to each company they work for: we’re looking for someone who will be excitedly going to the theatre often, to really get their hands dirty with understanding our business, our consumers, and our industry.
Reporting directly to the SVP of Marketing, you’ll have accountability for new member acquisition and retention, and will be responsible for creating integrated marketing campaigns that align with TTG’s business objectives. This role serves as the “hub” of the wheel of the marketing team, and is highly collaborative, working closely with Brand Marketing, Growth Marketing, CRM, Partnerships, and Product teams on a daily basis.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a marketing leader who has a proven track record of creating engaging content across traditional marketing channels, digital, and social media. If you are passionate about the performing arts space, consider yourself highly creative and innovative, and are focused on delivering against ambitious goals and KPIs, then we’d love to hear from you!
Please note: this is a full-time position and qualified candidates must be based in the greater London area. We encourage collaboration by working a minimum of 2 days per week in the office, while also offering flexibility for employees to choose where they work for the rest of the week.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Own the campaign calendar for the London market, establishing what messages will be deployed on what channels and to what audiences. With the Brand and Partnerships teams, define what those messages will be and decide the appropriate balance of sales and product marketing to achieve our goals
- Own devising the acquisition and retention tactics that will ensure our success against member acquisition and retention targets; own accountability for those KPIs in the London market
- Have accountability for the media mix utilized to achieve our goals, including the allocation of spend against performance v. non-performance media
- Direct Growth Marketing SMEs (Social and PPC) to drive efficient performance and achieve agreed sales goals, actively pushing teams towards success
- Provide effective line management and clear direction for the CRM/email marketing team, ensuring robust and well-executed activities that highlight relevant retailers’ unique user propositions, including Perks, Ticket Protection, and others
- Advocate for the members’ perspective in all creative, partnerships, and product development, ensuring that all activities continually clarify the USPs of TTG’s brands and strengthen their consumer proposition
- Champion the adoption of innovative technologies and data-driven approaches within the marketing strategy, collaborating with tech and product teams to leverage cutting-edge tools that enhance overall campaign effectiveness. Ensure a seamless user experience that aligns with the company’s brand promise and marketing objectives
- Proactively stay abreast of commercial developments, building for the future team and championing change and vision-setting for the coming year
