Providing influential and visible leadership to shape nursing and clinical practice to deliver the highest quality mental health care in complex and increasingly integrated health economy.
The role requires an individual who has a forward thinking approach to clinical leadership with an ability to demonstrate continuous improvements in nursing practice.

Working with the borough teams, primarily Luton and Bedford mental health services, the director of nursing will provide a proactive, value adding, strategic leadership working internally and with place based strategic partners.
The Director of Nursing will support the Chief nurse across the full range of duties and responsibilities and work collaboratively with other executives, disciplines and departments to deliver outstanding care.

Deputise for Chief Nurse
