Description:

APMEX IS SEEKING A DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS TO JOIN OUR TEAM IN DOWNTOWN OKC.

The Director of Operations is responsible for overseeing the receiving, fulfilment, and outbound shipping process to ensure on time delivery of our products to our customers. The Director coordinates quality control, inventory control and vendor management using strong project management and communication skills. As a member of senior leadership, the Director of Operations participates in the setting of yearly strategic goals and managing staff to meet or exceed goals.

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelors degree in accounting required
  • Master’s degree preferred

EXPERIENCE:

  • 5-10 years of experience in a distribution environment with direct oversight over one or more of the following within a distribution environment (inventory management, fulfillment, receiving, transportation).
  • Experience in building analytical reporting tools to help provide insight on operational opportunities
  • Experience utilizing intermediate Excel functions (pivot tables & V-Lookups)

COMPUTER SKILLS:

  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office; specifically Microsoft Excel
