Responsibilities:
WHY IS THIS ROLE IMPORTANT:
The Director of Operational Services is a National position to ensure operational practices are aligned to a common operating process. This candidate will be responsible for budgeting and reporting Labour, Shrink, Inventory Control, Operational Systems updates, Store Communication, Air Traffic Control, Operational Policies and Procedures.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Labour Management: as the primary contact for labour, you have the responsibility to manage and report all aspects of this metric, including driving common operational practices to improve productivity.
- Liaise with Merchandising and Operational around execution of the merchandising plans.
- Review and assess operational improvement plans to improve Shrink, Labour, Inventory Control and other operational initiatives.
- Monitor all Loblaw Companies Limited developed programs to ensure RCWC/National Wholesale is aligned nationally to implement.
- Scorecard management on Labour, Front End, Shrink, and Availability performance
- Update and manage Operation manuals, toolbox support forms and all other Operational support initiatives.
- Other responsibilities and duties as required.
