Description:

WHY JOIN US

WorkNest is on an exciting journey of growth, and as part of that journey, we’re recruiting for a Director of Operations to lead service delivery in key areas of our business. This role focuses specifically on our WorkNest HR division, with teams based in Kettering, Horsham, and a smaller group in our Glasgow office.
We’re looking for an experienced, commercially minded professional who can truly make a difference by driving growth, expanding our market share, and managing the operational side of strategic transformations and acquisitions (where relevant to our HR division). You’ll also play a key role in aligning WorkNest with businesses across the wider GRC Group, all while staying true to and reflecting our culture and values.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

We’re looking for an experienced operational senior leader, ideally with a background in our industry, who combines strong business and leadership expertise with knowledge of HR practices and policies. As Director of Operation for WorkNest HR, you’ll oversee service delivery across multiple teams spanning HR consultancy, projects, and advice (around 90 roles) while fostering a high-performing, customer-focused culture.
You’ll play a key role in shaping and delivering strategic and operational plans, collaborating closely with other functions like sales and marketing to drive client satisfaction, operational excellence, and financial performance. Representing the SLT, you’ll ensure key business goals are met and provide insights to improve our services and outcomes.
Your leadership will unify teams, establish consistent standards, and empower senior colleagues to achieve outstanding results. Working with the COO, CPO, and People team, you’ll champion diversity, equity, and positive working conditions while advancing colleague engagement and Employer NPS scores. By driving continuous improvement, delivering KPI’s, resolving clients concerns and exceeding contract renewal expectations, you’ll lead this team to exceptional success.
