Description:
JOIN THE UNIVERSITY OF MANCHESTER AS OUR DIRECTOR OF ORGANISATIONAL EFFECTIVENESS AND CULTURE!
Are you a strategic leader passionate about driving cultural transformation and organisational effectiveness? Do you have the experience and vision to shape the future of our institution, leading initiatives that foster a high-performance culture and employee wellbeing? If so, we have the perfect role for you!
As one of the UK’s largest single-site higher education institutions, with 13,000 colleagues and 46,000 students hailing from 170 countries, when you join our University, you become part of a truly diverse and global community.
It is an exciting time to join the University of Manchester during our bicentenary year, following the appointment of our new Executive Director of People, Eleanor Morrissey, and our President and Vice-Chancellor, Professor Duncan Ivison as we create our ambitious new strategy, Manchester 2035!
We are seeking to recruit 4 new Directors within People & Organisational Development to strengthen the leadership function within our Directorate and help deliver a People Strategy that enables us to achieve our strategic goals.
As the Director of Organisational Effectiveness and Culture, you will lead a dynamic team focused on enhancing the University’s culture and effectiveness. Reporting to senior leadership within the People Directorate, you will set the strategic direction for organisational transformation, employee wellbeing, and performance optimisation. You will also play a key role in promoting the ‘One University’ mindset through collaborative behaviours and innovative cultural initiatives.
