MINISTRY & PURPOSE

We are a local church with a global mission - leading people into a transforming relationship with Jesus. The heart behind everything we do is to see the soul, the city, and the world transformed by an only God movement. We aim to partner with the Holy Spirit to create moments that lead to movement, moments to connect, commit, and change. Our church is in a season of audacious vision called Greater Things that includes launching a new church in the Western Suburbs.
The Director of Partnerships at Soul City is a radically relational people mobilizer who longs to see compassion and justice lived out in Chicago and beyond though our local and global partners and church based initiatives. This leader champions the value of bridge building through vision, education and resources that help our church in their transformation journey.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibility & Percentage of Time
Develop, maintain and create relationships with partners, organizations and neighbors in the city & Western Suburbs including WorldVision, Breakthrough Urban Ministry, EnLace & Brown Elementary. -25%
Champion bridge building values inside and outside the church through communication and education to help Soul City realize our vision of being a bridge building church that creates longer tables instead of higher fences. -20%
Project manage church wide serving events like the Christmas Store, Gratitude Weekend & Back to School Bash. -20%
Mobilize congregation to serve regularly through various channels including vision casting, internal communication and partnership with ministries inside of Soul City -15%
Recruit, develop, train & care for volunteer team leaders -15%
Lead communication & response efforts for natural disasters & current events -5%
