REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or SHRM or HCI certification
  • Minimum 5 years of progressive HR experience
  • Strong strategic HR experience collaborating with C-suite executives
  • Comprehensive knowledge of HR compliance, employment laws, and industry trends
  • Proven experience with compensation and benefits processes
  • Demonstrated management and leadership experience
  • Excellence in communication, interpersonal skills, and problem-solving
  • Creative approach to finding solutions
  • Experience with ADP Workforce Now (advantage)
  • HRCI certification (advantageous)

Responsibilities:

THE ROLE:

The Director of People Operations will play a pivotal role in shaping company culture, enhancing employee engagement, and driving organizational success. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer and leading a team of three direct reports, this leader will manage both strategic and day-to-day operations of key HR functions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and execute HR strategies aligned with business goals, focusing on talent acquisition, retention, performance management, and employee development
  • Lead and implement policies, processes, training initiatives, and surveys to support organizational HR strategy and compliance needs
  • Manage department budget and purchasing decisions
  • Champion positive employee experience through effective onboarding, training, and ongoing support
  • Oversee Talent Acquisition efforts and enhance candidate experience
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws
  • Design and implement performance evaluation systems and career development plans
  • Support conflict resolution, investigations, and employee relations matters
