Description:

Northwest Talent Solutions is a leading Technology, Finance, and Healthcare staffing/recruiting and HR/DEI consulting firm partnering with outstanding clients within the private industry and public sector. Currently, we are partnered with a preferred client in Hot Springs, AR in search of a highly talented Director of People Services.

JOB SUMMARY:

The Director of People Services will lead the Human Resources department, overseeing all aspects of co-worker relations, recruitment, training, and HR policy development. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of HR best practices in the healthcare industry.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resource Management, or related field (Master’s degree preferred)
  • SHRM Certified Professional (PHR) or Senior Professional (SPHR) certification preferred
  • Considerable knowledge of co-worker relations and HR management principles, practices, and procedures
  • Strong understanding of laws and regulations relating to Human Resources
  • Healthcare industry experience preferred

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Proficiency in HR information systems and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Strong organizational and time management skills

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the organization’s goals
  • Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and retention initiatives
  • Manage employee relations, including conflict resolution and performance management
  • Develop and administer HR policies and procedures
  • Lead training and development programs for all levels of staff
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations
  • Manage the HR department budget
  • Collaborate with senior leadership on organizational development initiatives
