Description:

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Proven experience (8+ years) in hardware design program management and operations within the AI technology industry or related fields.
  • Strong understanding of AI technologies, including machine learning, natural language processing, computer vision, etc.
  • Demonstrated success in leading and delivering large-scale, cross-functional programs on time and within budget.
  • Experience with hardware development, from foundry & OSAT to platform level architecture, design and execution in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong leadership presence and the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve ambitious goals.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent is a plus.

Responsibilities:

THE ROLE:

We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Director of Platform Hardware Design Program Management and Operations to lead our initiatives in the AI technology space. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing large-scale programs, driving operational excellence, and fostering cross-functional collaboration. This role requires a blend of strong leadership, technical acumen, and business savvy to effectively navigate the complexities of AI-driven projects.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Program Management:
  • Lead and oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of complex AI programs and projects.
  • Define program scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain detailed program schedules, resource plans, and budgets.
  • Monitor and report on program progress, risks, and issues to ensure timely delivery and alignment with strategic objectives.
  • Implement best practices and methodologies in program management to drive efficiency and quality.
  • Operations Management:
  • Build and optimize operational processes to support AI product development, deployment, and maintenance.
  • Streamline workflows and improve operational efficiency across functions such as engineering, research, product management, and customer support.
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track operational performance and drive continuous improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and internal policies.
  • Foster a culture of operational excellence, accountability, and collaboration within the organization.
  • Leadership and Team Development:
  • Provide strategic direction and leadership to the program management and operations teams.
  • Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of growth, innovation, and professional development.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to align priorities, resolve conflicts, and drive consensus on critical decisions.
