Description:

To be considered for the role of Direct of Product Management, a candidate must have a proven track record over multiple years as a Product Manager accountable for bringing a differentiated product to the market that satisfies demand and represents a feasible business opportunity and is consistent with CareHawk’s overall strategies and objectives. This individual should have a proven ability to go deep and quickly learn new domains, have excellent business acumen and mastery of technical concepts and product lifecycle. As the product management landscape is dynamic and constantly evolving, it is important that the person in this role is comfortable with change and able to embrace new technologies, methodologies and agile strategies. To gain insight into a product’s effectiveness or attractiveness the individual will consult with stakeholders and test clients to ascertain their concerns and make suggestions for improvement.
We are looking for someone who remains highly focused on results, both for customers and the business as a whole and provides a comprehensive view of progress towards objectives to comprehend how our products are performing.
In this role, the individual will work with diverse teams, including engineering, marketing and sales teams, therefore it is essential that the successful candidate can foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment and can understand the impact they will have on creating the product’s success and therefore, playing one of the most vital roles at CareHawk.

Responsibilities:

  • Developing the product roadmap in collaboration with the Research and Development team to include product vision and goals, key milestones, release schedule and prioritization of features
  • Defining the required features and the desired user experience
  • Prioritize features by classifying them in relation to strategic goals and initiatives and making market decisions based on the value-added to our customers and business by the new features
  • Developing and articulating a clear product strategy and vision, aligning the product roadmap and product goals with CareHawk’s overall goals, market trends and customer needs roadmap for the entire product development lifecycle
  • Review wireframes, prototypes, and product specs while providing feedback and approval for design and functionality aspects
  • Planning and executing the marketing strategy and ensuring the overall product strategy is developed in collaboration with the marketing team
  • Assisting with quarterly planning and assigning objectives to the R&D team
  • Successfully plan product launches by collaborating with product marketing, the Research and Development team, Operations and Sales team to develop go-to-market strategies, positioning, messaging, and pricing
  • Monitoring the market landscape, conducting competitive analysis and staying updated on industry trends to ensure the product remains competitive while addressing evolving customer needs
  • Ensure customer feedback and requests get incorporated into the product planning and development processes then communicate the status of submitted ideas to customers, partners and internal teammates
  • Participate in or review results from user testing sessions, analyzing qualitative feedback to identify pain points and potential improvements
  • Drive and modify key performance indicators (KPIs) and objectives and key results (OKRs)
  • Use the product’s various key performance indicators to identify trends and patterns and make decisions about product improvement
  • Measure results and progress towards goals using customer satisfaction levels or feedback data, product usage and sales data (number of products sold, average selling price and total revenue generated by the product)
  • Establishing relationships with distributors, customers, competitors, adjacent product manufacturers and third-party partners and conducting for an external view of the industry
  • Work closely with Director of Engineering to discuss technical feasibility, design iterations, and ensure alignment on implementation details
  • Provide daily updates and status reports to relevant internal teams, ensuring everyone is informed of product developments and immediate priorities
  • Participate in impromptu meetings to address urgent product issues, coordinate with cross-functional teams and resolve escalated problems
  • Communicate needs between CareHawk executives and stakeholders
  • Developing and presenting business cases

Qualifications:

  • A bachelor’s or master’s degree in business administration, economics, engineering or related field
  • At least five years of experience in product management, preferably in leadership roles, with a track record of successfully managing and launching products
  • Knowledge of product ownership, product strategy development, product road mapping, project management and cross-team communications
  • Strong strategic thinking skills and a solid understanding of business dynamics to align product initiatives with overall business objectives
  • Ability to create and execute effective product strategies and strategic vision
  • A solid understanding of product management tools and processes, including proficiency in agile methodologies, and product lifecycle management
  • Skill in conducting market research, understanding industry trends, analyzing trends, and analyzing competitor products to inform product strategy and positioning
  • Strong analytical thinking and the ability to make informed decisions quickly, especially in high-pressure situations or when date is incomplete
  • Understanding of software development processes, including familiarity with programming languages, APIs and web technologies to effectively communicate with the engineering team
  • Ability to build and lead complex teams and products from inception to launch while coordinating and leading a large number of moving pieces across multiple functions
  • Ability to lead, inspire and mentor a diverse team of designers, RSMs and marketing while fostering a collaborative high-performance work environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills capable of presenting complex information clearly persuasively to various stakeholders
  • Deep understanding and empathy for customer needs with a focus on creating products that deliver genuine value and solve real problems
  • Proven ability to influence both individual contributors and leaders at all levels
