The role
As a Director of Product Management in the Deep Sector Product Group, you will own and influence the product strategy, roadmap and GTM messaging across Deep Sector, including FIG, Real Estate, Energy & Utilities, Metals & Mining, Technology, Media & Telecom, and Healthcare. You’ll collaborate with senior leaders, sector leads, product owners, designers, and engineers across the organization to ensure the successful delivery of industry-specific solutions to our target customers in Investment Banking, Research, Private Equity, Corporates and Asset Managers. You will help drive technology innovation and content expansion in the form of new products and features. And you will help produce customer insights through user-led discovery sessions. This is a highly visible and influential role where you will own product-led outcomes by holding yourself and cross-functional teams accountable.
The ideal candidate will have deep product management skills, experience with Scrum/Agile, and be comfortable directing teams. We are seeking a collaborative yet self-directed influencer who wants the incremental value of their projects to lead to meaningful impact. They should have a curiosity and empathy for our users and be able to provide perspective on how we can improve their experiences in the near, medium, and long terms. Experience with target segment workflows and/or industry-specific knowledge is desired.

What you’ll do

  • Own and influence the product vision, strategy, and roadmap of Deep Sector Screening, Office, Report, and Document solutions
  • Gain sector-specific knowledge and help map the competitive landscape by partnering with sector leads and firm-type strategists
  • Partner with design, engineering, and product owners across all stages of the software development lifecycle
  • Collaborate with engineering counterparts to drive technology innovation and build industry-specific solutions for customers
  • Experiment and analyze the metrics through multiple product iterations
  • Lead product demos and user discovery sessions to help produce customer insights
  • Partner with Deep Sector sales and account teams to provide support for rapid user expansion
  • Define and analyze metrics to guide successful user conversions
  • Align many cross-functional teams with a shared vision of the future

Qualifications

  • Bachelors’ degree
  • 10+ yrs of experience with strong performance history in product management, engineering, or management consulting/investment banking
  • Strong understanding of client workflows and Deep Sector content
  • Exceptional collaboration, organizational & communication skills
  • Detail-oriented with ability to see the big picture

The budgeted amount range for this position in the State of Connecticut and New York City is $156,000 - $170,000
