To support in realising the ambitious goals for the team, we are seeking to appoint an experienced product leader to define and prioritise the strategic product roadmap.
Leadership: Be a key member of the Zalando Plus leadership team, driving the product, commercial and experience strategy. Help the team and program grow. You will provide strong product leadership experience, connecting the dots to our commercial and customer engagement goals, while developing, coaching, and mentoring to your team and other product leaders at Zalando.
Loyalty experience: You have substantial experience building and operating loyalty programs at scale and understand related customer needs and challenges. You build products that generate commercial and customer impact at scale, helping to build deep customer relationships.
Strategic Vision: In line with Zalando’s Group Strategy and together with the VP of Plus, you develop and drive Zalando’s loyalty strategy to success.
Technical Background: We expect you to fly high and dive deep. Strong hands on experience and leadership experience in product management paired with a solid understanding of engineering and collaboration is needed.

Responsibilities:

THE ROLE

As the Product Director, you will be responsible for the end to end experience of Zalando Plus: From setting the strategy, to defining the product roadmap, executing the roadmap with your Engineering team to working with commercial functions such as demand and marketing teams to operate and grow the member base. You will directly manage a senior product management team. Your role is critical for Zalando to deeply understand our customers, build engaging relationships with them and provide them with a tailored outstanding experience through Zalando Plus on our platforms.
Working alongside our VP of Zalando Plus, you will help us translate the Zalando Group Strategy into a clear vision for the Plus program to reward and engage our customers.
Specifically, in this role you will focus on defining a multi-year product vision and strategy across the end to end loyalty journey at Zalando. You will closely collaborate with Zalando Markets, and Propositions to define and provide experiences and benefits to members through the Plus program.

  • Setting the overarching Loyalty strategy for Zalando across all propositions, in alignment with the Zalando Group Strategy but also learning from industry best practices
