JOB DESCRIPTION:
Job Title: Director of Product Management
Position Summary:
Magna Legal Services is seeking a visionary Director of Product Management to lead our product development initiatives. The Director of Product Management will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of Magna’s software products. Reporting directly to the CTO, this seasoned professional will oversee the entire product lifecycle, from conception to launch and beyond. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully managing complex software products, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and third-party development firms. This position requires a strategic thinker who can align product development with business objectives, drive innovation, and deliver solutions that meet the evolving needs of the legal industry.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 10+ years of experience in product management, preferably in SaaS or enterprise software
- Proven ability to develop and execute product strategies that drive business growth
- Strong technical background with the ability to understand and communicate complex software concepts
- Experience managing relationships with third-party development firms
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide cross-functional teams
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to interface effectively with C-level executives and key stakeholders
- Experience in the legal industry or bringing AI products to market is a significant plus
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Business, or related field; MBA preferred
- Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time for client meetings and industry events
- Agile/Scrum certification is desirable
Compensation: USD $160,000 - $190,000 per year
An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, travel requirements, revenue-based metrics, any contractual agreements, and business or organizational needs. The range listed is just one component of the total compensation package for employees.
