Brown Bagging for Calgary’s Kids (BB4CK) has an exciting opportunity for a dynamic individual to join our dedicated team!

ABOUT US

For over 30 years, Brown Bagging for Calgary’s Kids (BB4CK) has been dedicated to ensuring every child in our city has access to the food they need to thrive. Together with our BB4CK community— volunteers, parents, school staff, and donors—we connect kids to nutritious meals through school lunches and summer camps, and by supporting families with grocery cards. We are committed to providing low-barrier, dignified access to food, ensuring every child feels cared for and supported by their community.

OTHER KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

  • Strong interpersonal skills, visionary thinking, and experience related to the food insecurity and/or poverty reduction sector.
  • Experience related to innovation and change management is an asset.
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • 5-7years mid-level experience working with a team and 2-3 years leading a team.
  • 5+ years of education and/or experience related to community engagement, program delivery, and participant-informed programming.
  • Experience working with various evaluation frameworks and models.
