• The position is hybrid between 2 days at the office and 3 days remote

Role: The Director of Project reports to the Vice President, professional service and is responsible for the projects to be delivered on time, budgeting and maintain required quality standard. He/she will manage 5 to 10 Project Managers. He/she identifies opportunities for improvement and recommends solutions to optimize the business processes and workflow; thereby participating in the achievement of the company’s goals and the satisfaction of our clients.

SKILLS DEVELOPMENT AND TRAINING

• Identify the weaknesses and suggest areas of improvement in the team
• Motivate team members, ensure their good performance and actively contribute to the attainment of the goals and deliverables of the team
• Deliver or participate in training sessions to help with the integration of new knowledge and the development of the team’s expertise
• Ensure the company’s policies, as well as the standards and best practices are respected

REQUIREMENTS:

Technical

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Finance, Business, or a related field
• 10+ years of experience of IT or finance project management and at least 3 years in a management role
• PMP certification or equivalent
• Experience in client-facing project, not just internal initiatives
• Experience in Project Development Cycle Management
• Experience in the Financial Services or Insurance industries is a strong asset
• Very good knowledge of Web Technologies/Environment
• Proficient with Agile methodology
• Excellent verbal and written skills in both French and English (spoken and written)
• Organizational and communication skills
• Strong acumen in sales support
• Strong understanding of project delivery from vendor and a client perspective

• Analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to communicate, write and synthesize information
• Ability to multi-task in a rapid-paced environment
