Position Available: Director of Retail Operations
Location: Vancouver, BC
Rove Concepts is seeking a dynamic and strategic Director of Retail Operations to oversee the performance and operations of multiple showroom locations across key markets. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned leader with a strong background in retail or showroom management, particularly in the luxury goods or high-end furniture industry. This individual will be responsible for driving operational excellence, ensuring that showrooms meet or exceed sales targets, and implementing strategies to enhance both the client and team experience. With a focus on business growth and operational efficiency, the Director of Retail Operations will lead a team of showroom managers, fostering a culture of high performance and exceptional customer service across all locations.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership, coaching, and support to showroom managers to ensure sales and operational goals are consistently achieved.
  • Develop and implement operational strategies that drive business growth and optimize showroom performance.
  • Oversee and analyze sales data and KPIs across regions to identify opportunities for improvement and scale successful initiatives.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to align regional goals with the company’s overall vision and growth strategies.
  • Manage and monitor financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and expense control across the region.
  • Foster a culture of clienteling and business development by mentoring showroom managers to strengthen client relationships and grow repeat business.
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives to improve the efficiency of showroom operations, from sales processes to inventory management.
  • Ensure consistency in visual merchandising, showroom presentation, and customer experience across all regional locations.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations for showroom managers, setting clear goals and providing feedback for continued growth and improvement.
  • Spearhead initiatives to drive foot traffic and in-store sales, while also exploring innovative ways to enhance the customer experience.
  • Lead the recruitment, training, and development of showroom management teams, ensuring each location has the right talent to meet business objectives.
