Southern Coos Hospital & Health Center has an opening for an onsite Director of Revenue Cycle. The Director of Revenue Cycle is responsible for the direction and leadership of operational, financial, programmatic, and personnel activities for Revenue Cycle, including provider payer enrollment/credentialing, claims, payments, credit balance, insurance reimbursement, self-pay management, referrals, registration, patient financial clearance, health information management, coding, and revenue cycle contracted services. This includes establishing, meeting, and continuously monitoring the goals and objectives while maintaining alignment with the strategic goals and objectives of Southern Coos Hospital and Health Center. While the range of tasks and responsibilities is broad and varied, the position’s major responsibility is directing the day-to-day operations, budgeting, financial management, and human resource management for the hospital, clinics, and contracted services.
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in business or related field (i.e. BA/BS) is required.
- Master’s degree in business, healthcare administration, or related field is preferred.
- Eight (8) years of progressively responsible management experience in a healthcare business setting and at least five (5) years in a related leadership role is required.
- Ten (10) years of management experience in a medical group practice or hospital business office. Experience in a large academic or complex health program is preferred.
- Excellent analytical skills as well as a strong business acumen required.
- Excellent interpersonal and communications skills, with the ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders is required
- Strong interpersonal skills with a drive to provide exceptional service.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
- Attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication, and computer proficiency specifically, in Microsoft Office and online software.
