The Director of Sales - Channel Partners is responsible for leading the development and implementation of strategic and tactical sales plans to drive new and profitable revenue for Valley Fiber. In this role, you will provide leadership, coaching, and motivation to our Field (door-to-door), and Retail channel partners, fostering strong relationships to increase customer subscriptions, revenue and maintain customer loyalty. As part of a multi-channel team, you will oversee sales execution through independent Dealers and Retail partners, including the day-to-day operational and vendor management of the door-to-door sales and marketing channel.

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead, coach, and motivate channel partners to continuously improve Average Revenue per User.
  • Ability to accurately forecast sales for these channels.
  • Develop and implement tactical sales plans to achieve subscriber and revenue targets.
  • Track and increase Sales productivity via these channels.
  • Manage and track cost per gross addition via these channels.
  • Track and increase market penetration via these channels, including ongoing territory planning and execution for the door-to-door sales and marketing channel.
  • Management of sales quality for these channels including new order accuracy, proper expectations set with new partners and customers, as well as early churn (0-3 & 0-6 months).
  • Create and maintain accurate sales reports on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
  • Advocate for and ensure the successful achievement of monthly sales objectives.
  • Collaborate with the Valley Fiber team to gain a deep understanding of the needs and goals of our residential customer segment.
  • Assist in setting pricing structures for Residential services.
  • Function as the main point of contact for sales, marketing, and financial reporting requirements from Channel Partners.
  • Track and increase sign-up percentages by Channel Partners.
  • Establish a comprehensive sales training program to onboard and support new Channel Partners.
  • Meet with Channel Partners (weekly, quarterly, bi-annually, annually) to assess performance and plan future strategies.
  • Manage sales projects related to business development through Channel Partners.

Who You Are:

  • Bachelor of Commerce degree preferred.
  • 7-10 years of sales experience.
  • 5 years of managerial experience or primary Channel Partner management experience.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
  • Excellent negotiation and leadership skills.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong emotional intelligence and interpersonal skills.
