Description:

THE OPPORTUNITY:

Are you a dynamic sales leader with a proven track record of driving business growth in the commercial sector? Do you have the passion and expertise to build and execute a sales strategy from the ground up? If so, this is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in expanding Liberata’s commercial footprint.
As Director of Sales, you will be responsible for developing and leading new business sales initiatives across key commercial sectors, including Utilities, Housing, and Financial Services. Reporting directly to the CEO and working closely with the COO and Service Tower Directors, you will be instrumental in securing new clients, establishing market presence, and ultimately building a high-performing sales team. This is an exciting “standing start” role, with full support from our Service Towers and marketing teams.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • A results-driven and tenacious sales leader with a track record of success in new business acquisition.
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent professional experience.
  • Extensive experience in a senior sales role with a commercial sector focus.
  • A strong industry network and demonstrable ability to drive business growth through proactive sales and business development strategies.
  • Deep understanding of outsourcing and managed services within a commercial setting.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage and influence at senior level.
  • High emotional intelligence, resilience, and adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced and evolving business landscape.

DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Professional relevant qualifications in Professional Selling
  • Experience in a senior leadership role within a corporate environment.
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to establish and grow a business unit from inception.
  • Demonstrates leadership and influence when partnering with internal team members, clients, and key stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with the CEO to create commercial sector sales strategy.
  • Marketing facing activity to represent the company to the commercial sector – engage in market awareness and market building activity.
  • Represent Liberata at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to build market awareness.
  • Work collaboratively with Service Tower Directors to create go-to-market plans and lead generation strategies.
  • Work with the CEO and Corporate Marketing to facilitate sales and marketing collateral generation.
  • Contribute to the strategic direction of the company as a key member of the senior leadership team.
  • Build useful and pragmatic working partnerships across the company to execute on closing sales opportunities.
