We are looking for an experienced Director of Sales to join us at our amazing Radisson Blu Durham property who will manage a portfolio of accounts and generate new business from within the area and be responsible for supporting Radisson Blu Durham with local sales activity.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive all profitable revenue and RGI growth through the focus on a selected portfolio of existing Small and Medium (SME) accounts and new customers with a strategic focus on group, corporate and Meetings & Events business.
  • Support the onsite Reservations Office with conversion of enquiries within the agreed escalation threshold.

. Devise, execute and own a detailed and targeted Sales & Marketing Plan for the hotel and Account development plans for your own portfolio

  • Produce reports with analysis of performance against forecast and budget, along with outlook for the weeks/months ahead (transient and M&E) whilst providing a summary of all activities, successes, opportunities, red flags and local market intelligence
  • Ensure effective communication and coordination with other areas of the Hotel to ensure that relevant strategy is understood and aligned.
