We’re looking for a Director of Transformation to join us in Bradford
Our company is seeking a visionary Director of Shared Services Transformation, to spearhead the digital transformation of our Shared Services Centre. In this pivotal role, you will play a critical part in optimising our service delivery, enhancing go-to-market readiness, and ultimately propelling our organisations competitive edge.
Reporting into VP Operations, the Director of Transformation is an exciting and challenging role that is accountable for design and delivery of our future ready operating structures across Finance, HR, Field and Legal Operations. Utilising a process centred and technology first mindset the Director of Transformation will understand each departments purpose and customer base before expertly pairing selected systems focused, future proof digital solutions.
These solutions will provide increased value to the enviable customer base which includes LG group brands such as Virgin Media 02 (UK) and Virgin Media Ireland/VMTV, Sunrise (CH), Head office (Central) and our growing Ventures Portfolio. It aspires to grow its portfolio to Transformation as a Service (TaaS) supporting new customers with an outsourced digital transformation service through its unique combination of LSS backed operating process and future focused technology, to the global market this year.
What will you be doing?

As the Director of Transformation you will work alongside Director of Digital Transformation and together bring inspiring thought leadership, charismatic service management, a deep devotion to transactional finance process excellence and the commercial understanding to build for growth to enable your departments success.

  • Understand existing customer contracted services, current delivery methods and organisational structures, to properly assess where opportunity for transformation exists within regulatory or contractual parameters;
  • Lead alignment between LSS Operations and our customers on opportunity for process efficiency, investment and payback to drive efficiency of operations, profitability and value for our customers.
  • Understand market leading digital partners and future LSS operating models to lead digital transformation of our industry;
  • Drive the change, challenge Data, IT, Operational and Automation teams to maximise efficiency of LSS operations;
  • Thoughtfully deploy new solutions in compliance with Regulatory, Accounting, Legal, Contractual and Tax Rules for all jurisdictions.
  • Work with Operational Leads to understand current and future customer base, forecasted multi-year contracting and return on investment lifecycle to ensure sustainability of operations and opportunity / need for transformation;
  • Constantly validate market position of Operational service offering against competitors to ensure Payment, Legal and Field Operations remain relevant and viable in future finance landscape;
  • Promote brand and reputation through thoughtful networking, industry accreditation and hold LLS and yourself to a high standard.

Some of the key projects you will focus on will include:

  • Production of Transformation Roadmap for all Operations in LSS
  • Articulation of current and future state
  • Correct engagement across Ops, Tech, Commercial and People.
  • Digitalisation of Operations
  • Touchless or low contact tier 1 processing
  • First draft generated tier 2 transactions using AI solutions
  • Market leading cost per transaction
  • Expansion into External BPM market
  • Market leading speed, accuracy and cost

The knowledge and experience needed for this role is as follows:
The ability to effectively translate operational ambition into a credible and realistic technical solution is critical.
An inspiring, future focused leader who promotes diversity of thought. You will be minded towards commerciality, understanding how to build successful long term relationships with customers whilst also maintaining excellent governance of operations.

Leaders come in many shapes but as a guide we’re looking for:

  • Someone with demonstrative understanding of finance, HR and legal industry and Audit / Risk / Compliance requirements:
  • A background in operations with a good understanding of how transactions take place in high volume tier 1-3 environments.
  • Technical systems knowledge or Digital automation background
  • Someone who enjoys a dynamic multinational finance environment
  • Exposure to customer acquisition
  • Ability to be supportive, consultative and collaborative and to work effectively across national boundaries.
