Description:
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS, CAPABILITIES, AND SKILLS
- Experience developing or leading cross-functional teams of technologists.
- Experience with hiring, developing, and recognizing talent.
- Experience in enterprise-scale application design, development, and operational stability.
- Practical cloud-native experience.
- Expertise in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field.
- Hands-on experience with Big Data and distributed computation systems (HDFS, Spark, Apache Flink, Databricks).
- Hands-on experience with Java, Python & Spring Boot, and cloud-native foundations.
- Demonstrated proficiency in software applications and technical processes within a technical discipline (e.g., cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, etc.).
- Proficiency with AWS services, including EMR and EKS.
- Experience with Hadoop and Spark ecosystems.

Responsibilities:
- Executes creative software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with the ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions or break down technical problems.
- Accountable for decisions that influence teams’ resources, budget, tactical operations, and the execution and implementation of processes and procedures.
- Carries governance accountability for coding decisions, control obligations, and measures of success such as cost of ownership, maintainability, and portfolio operations.
- Delivers technical solutions that can be leveraged across multiple businesses and domains.
- Influences peer leaders and senior stakeholders across the business, product, and technology teams.
- Leads communities of practice across Software Engineering to drive awareness and use of new and leading-edge technologies.
