Description:
David Evans and Associates, Inc. (DEA) is seeking a highly experienced Temporary Director of Special Projects – RH to support our Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) on various special projects. This role requires flexibility, as the hours will vary depending on project timelines and deliverables. The individual will provide strategic oversight and execution of high-level initiatives that are essential to the organization’s financial and operational success. This temporary position is designed for a seasoned executive with extensive experience in the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) industry.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- 20+ years of executive-level experience in the AEC industry.
- Proven ability to manage and lead high-stakes financial projects.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with a collaborative approach to working with cross-functional teams.
- Extensive experience in financial planning, budgeting, risk management, and corporate governance.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the CFO and CEO with the planning and implementation of critical financial and operational projects.
- Lead and manage special projects related to financial planning, budgeting, and reporting.
- Provide insights and strategic recommendations on corporate finance, risk management, and business operations.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure projects are executed on time and align with company objectives.
- Monitor and assess the financial health of various divisions and provide detailed reports to the executive team.
- Conduct financial analysis and support decision-making processes that drive organizational growth.
