Description:

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in business development, sales, or strategy within the government contracting industry.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

  • The candidate must possess excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
    REQUIREMENT: Must be a United States citizen or permanent resident or have authorization for employment in the United States.
    SALARY: Commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Planning and Execution:
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive strategy for business development, focusing on expanding ASRT, Inc.’s footprint in the government sector.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to align business development strategies with the company’s long-term goals and objectives.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify new opportunities and emerging trends within the government contracting space.
  • Business Development and Sales:
  • Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities with federal, state, and local government agencies.
  • Lead the proposal development process, including the preparation of technical and cost proposals, ensuring compliance with government regulations and requirements.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key government officials, prime contractors, and industry partners to enhance ASRT, Inc.’s competitive position.
  • Achieve or exceed assigned revenue and growth targets through effective business development strategies and execution.
  • Partnership and Relationship Management:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including government clients, industry partners, and internal teams.
  • Develop and manage strategic partnerships and alliances that align with ASRT, Inc.’s growth objectives.
  • Represent ASRT, Inc. at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to promote the company’s capabilities and build brand awareness.
  • Leadership and Team Development:
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing business development team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence.
  • Provide guidance and support to team members in their efforts to identify, pursue, and capture new business opportunities.
  • Ensure continuous improvement in business development processes, tools, and methodologies.
