Description:
JOIN OUR TEAM AS DIRECTOR OF TALENT DEVELOPMENT AT THE UNIVERSITY OF MANCHESTER
Are you a visionary leader passionate about shaping the future of talent development?
The University of Manchester is seeking an innovative Director of Talent Development to lead and drive the strategic direction of our Talent Development Centre of Expertise. This is a unique opportunity to support the University’s mission by developing core learning frameworks, leadership capabilities, and professional growth opportunities that impact staff across all levels.
As one of the UK’s largest single-site higher education institutions, with 13,000 colleagues and 46,000 students hailing from 170 countries, when you join our University, you become part of a truly diverse and global community.
It is an exciting time to join the University of Manchester during our bicentenary year, following the appointment of our new Executive Director of People, Eleanor Morrissey, and our President and Vice-Chancellor, Professor Duncan Ivison as we create our ambitious new strategy, Manchester 2035!
We are seeking to recruit 4 new Directors within the People Directorate to strengthen the leadership function within our Directorate and help deliver a People Strategy that enables us to achieve our strategic goals.
As Director of Talent Development, you will lead the design and implementation of talent development strategies that align with the University’s vision and strategic goals. Your role will ensure that our leaders are equipped to navigate the unique needs of both academic and professional services, fostering a unified ‘One University’ mindset.
The University of Manchester will be leading the search directly and will not be engaging the services of any third-party agencies as part of the recruitment process.
