POSITION SUMMARY:

The Director of Technology Efficiency upholds our core values, embraces the accountability culture, and practices the effortless experience philosophy. This role is responsible for overseeing the assessment, analysis, and optimization of the company’s technological processes and systems to drive operational efficiency, cost savings, and process improvements. The Director collaborates closely with various departments to recommend and implement initiatives that align with company goals and plays a critical role in enhancing overall operational performance.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or related field required
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive IT Professional experience in a fast-paced, multifaceted information technology department or equivalent combination of education, experience, and equivalent related professional designations
  • Strong Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills
  • Technical Proficiency in IT Systems and Infrastructure
  • Experience in Process Improvement and Optimization
  • Familiarity with automation platforms (e.g., RPA, workflow automation tools) and a demonstrated ability to identify automation opportunities that lead to cost and time savings
  • Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Excel
  • Experience with ITIL or Lean Six Sigma methodologies is highly desirable

Responsibilities:

  • Assess and analyze current technological processes and systems
  • Propose and implement technological solutions that effectively reduce operational costs
  • Monitor and evaluate the impact of implemented solutions to ensure they deliver expected outcomes and contribute to the company’s bottom line
  • Collaborate with the VP of Stakeholder Strategy & Engagement to align efficiency initiatives with broader company goals and strategic objectives
  • Develop and maintain regular reports on operational efficiency, project progress, and cost savings achieved
  • Provide data and analysis to support data-driven decision-making for the leadership team and key stakeholders
  • Coordinate with external partners like Smart Software Solutions for the execution of identified improvements
