• A distinguished record of university and careers guidance
• A strong record of professional development
• Knowledge of UCAS, the US college and university system as well as those of other key nations

• Develop a world class university and careers guidance programme
• Lead the university application process
• Guide pupils and their families through the university admissions and application processes
• Monitor individual pupil progress throughout the university application process
• Educate families about the various universities and college admissions processes to include financial aid and scholarship possibilities
• Arrange regular visits from university and college representatives to the school
• Arrange on-site university fairs and support the attendance of pupils at local university fairs
• Build and maintain relationships with university admissions professionals
• Develop strong alumni links to augment the university and careers guidance programme
• Maintain a strong working knowledge of colleges and universities around the world and to show an active research interest in developments throughout the sector
• Develop and maintain tracking and analysis tools to monitor the success of the careers and university guidance programme
