Description:

JOB OVERVIEW:

The Director of Operations Support and Business Analytics will provide strategic oversight and leadership to a dynamic team of central support specialists, both internal and external, along with reporting and business analytics. This role is accountable for all operations support processes, procedures, and related technology platforms. Additionally, this role is responsible for developing and managing routine reporting and quantitative or qualitative analyses to address impactful business issues or questions with key stakeholders. This role encompasses leadership, relationships, and team management

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Master’s degree in business administration, Operations Management, Data Science, or related field. 10+ years of managerial experience in operations and business intelligence preferred
  • Conduct business at all times with the highest standards of personal, professional and ethical conduct.
  • Perform or assist with any operations as required to maintain workflow and to meet schedules.
  • Expected to participate in any variety of meetings, special projects, and work groups to integrate activities, communicate issues, obtain approvals, resolve problems and maintain specified level of knowledge pertaining to new developments, requirements, policies, and regulatory guidelines.
  • Ensure all safety precautions are followed while performing the work.
  • Follow all policies and Standard Operating Procedures as instructed by Management.
  • Perform any range of special projects, tasks and other related duties as assigned.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of business analysts and various operational support teams while instilling cross functional partnerships with key leaders and stakeholders within the region and nationally.
  • Define, implement, and standardize operations policies relating to various centralized support models and its technology, aligned with region and national guidelines. Routinely evaluate the efficiency of processes and procedures according to organizational objectives and apply improvements.
  • Review, analyze, and evaluate current business procedures; implement policies and procedures that will improve day-to-day operations and improve service to both the internal and external customer.
  • Oversee the business requirements, planning, and architecture of reports and perform meaningful quantitative or qualitative analyses addressing impactful business issues or questions.
  • Establish quantitative and qualitative KPIs and guidelines, by which efficiency and effectiveness can be evaluated; identify opportunities for improvement. Establish cadence to key stakeholders. Collaborate with leadership to identify and generate potential business intelligence initiatives.
  • Monitors ongoing success of initiatives through KPIs, including benefit realization, compliance and utilization of technology resources and programs.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership and PMO team to align and drive organizational key initiatives and enterprise technology solutions. Represent the region on various technology and operations committees.
  • Prepare and manage department budget and costs.
  • Ensure that business intelligence analysts have the tools, training, and understanding of property operations to produce effective dashboards, reports, and KPIs.
