JOB DESCRIPTION

Director, Operations Swindon (UK)

SUMMARY:

This role is accountable for the management and execution of the manufacturing activities at site level for sterile injectable liquid filled and freeze dried products. This is a pivotal role to integrate all operational activities and teams into a “One Operations team” at the Swindon site. Using the “One operations approach” you will achieve reliable execution with consistently high-quality products, delivering critical KPI`s in safety, to meet people and customer expectations.
This role will report directly to the Site General Manager, and work closely with the Site Leadership Team and Functional Leaders to build a successful “One Site” operations team, fostering cultural transformation. All Operations Managers and directly associated Technical Managers will report to this role.

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor Scientific Degree or equivalent experience.

EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum 10 years Pharma industry experience and 15 years in a relevant industry.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in leading Operational teams.
  • Extensive knowledge of sterile injectable manufacturing processes and technologies within the pharmaceutical industry.
