EDUCATION
Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, physical engineering, chemical engineering, or related fields
EXPERIENCE
- 10+ years of career progression in a manufacturing business
- Senior Operations leadership experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience with product manufacturing of clinical diagnostics product lines. Specialized knowledge in therapeutic drug monitoring, toxicology, (molecular) controls and OEM accounts a plus.
- Audit experience within a cGMP environment required.

- Shown experience as a change agent.
- Practical experience in continual improvement methodologies.

- Ability to partner with and influence team members within Operations and cross-functionally, including Product Management, Finance, R&D, Commercial Sales team, HR, and others.
- Ability to demonstrate flexibility and lead multiple projects, eventually beyond the business unit’s organization.

Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the value stream organizations and senior leaders to establish goals and priorities consistent with business objectives and customer expectations.
- Provide directions to the three value streams’ formulations operations and Manufacturing Services (Fill-Pack-Label) to
- achieve on time delivery, demand-based capacity throughput, safety, quality, cost and continuous improvement through lean leadership
- Support daily business needs, business growth through NPI Project, improve material productivity and provide cost effective solutions by cross functions partnership with Product Management, R&D, PMO, Finance to Sourcing and supplier.
- Lead all aspects of financial targets, key performance indicators and benchmarks including productivity, operating income, revenue, margins, inventory, and growth and partner with the respective finance, commercial and product management leadership to meet target achievements.
- Support a team of people managers, including Sr. Value Stream Leaders and other team leaders in Manufacturing Services. Develop strong teams to ensure efficiency of those operating units.
- Collaborate with senior leaders of major customers and internal partners to provide outstanding service in line with their expectations.
- Ensure value stream’s organizations are achieving production goals and production and laboratory standards are in compliance with all GMP, ISO, FDA, OSHA, and other company manufacturing and safety guidelines.
- Engage multi-functionally and at all levels of the business.
- Champion PPI in Operations and provide overall direction for operational engagement. Drive continuous higher levels of process improvement, customer satisfaction and profitable growth at the site.
