Our People and Culture team is seeking an experienced and visionary leader to shape our organisational culture, workforce development and diversity strategies.
As the Director Organisational Development and Culture, you will lead a diverse team responsible for designing and implementing innovative workforce strategies that build the capabilities, culture, diversity and inclusion, Aboriginal employment, leadership and talent pipeline to ensure DPHI’s workforce reflects the communities we serve today and in the future.
This will include partnering with senior leaders to champion the positive impact of diversity, inclusion and belonging on service delivery, policy development, innovation and business outcomes. You will also be responsible for leading the implementation of department-wide capability development, leadership development, employee engagement and performance coaching strategies to empower individuals and teams to perform at their best. You will drive the department’s talent management program to build a robust talent pipeline to meet our future workforce needs.
Your leadership will guide the department through transformational change, ensuring a human-centred and customer service-focused approach to organisational development and effectiveness.

ABOUT YOU
To be successful in this role, you will be a senior HR professional with proven experience in driving organisational development, culture transformation, and diversity outcomes in a complex and dynamic organisational environment. You will have a solid track record developing and implementing capability programs that align with strategic objectives, and possess a broad understanding of DEIB, capability development, Aboriginal employment, employee engagement, leadership development and broad talent management principles.
It is essential that you are a strategic thinker with strong stakeholder engagement skills which enables you to influence and build strong partnerships across all levels of an organisation. You will also be skilled at leading diverse and geographically dispersed teams in a complex and agile operating environment with the ability to inspire direction and purpose.
